He was muttering things to himself as he closed his eyes. Exion, though seemed normal, was far from it. he sighed at that thought, and opened his mind up. feeling movements in the forest as if they were done to his body. bingo. '' i'll be back.. Its a bit out of the way, but i think its the only thing around. might take a few minutes. Its a few hundred yards away.'' he said lightly as he took off at a run. With the final trace of him disappearing into a tree on the other side of the clearing, and then even his radiant silver trench coat fluttered into the darkness.

Each leap was silent. having countless years to prefect it. he was rather graceful for the human he was. another leap, and the branch barely moved, easily mistaken for the wind. He had to stay high, and up wind, so he wasn't detected. This prey was his own. He held out his palm, and the metal blade slivered out of his wrist, falling into his hand. The deer only a bit ahead after his fast advance through the forest. With each second, the blade extended and thinned out a bit more. He found a spot not far from the buck at all. and the blade flew through the air with his silent throw. The buck looked back about the time of no return. with little more than a sinking sound, the blade struck in its neck, and the buck fell to the ground. Exion grinned slightly, and landed with a gentle thud on the ground. Picking up the easily 140 pound buck like it was nothing, he through it over his shoulder, and carried it back toward the fire. His steps were careless now, wondering why this thing was so far from the clearing. it was odd, but he minded it not, it would only take a few minutes to get back.

Five minutes later, he was halfway through the clearing, being gone for maybe fifteen minutes, though it seemed less than that. his stomach growling at him, telling him to hurry up and skin the thing. he stopped maybe thirty feet from her, and pulled the blade from the beast's neck, an ark of blood flinging through the air as he did. and he went to skinning and cleaning.
