Corbin laughed in response to Kaechii's question. "Just to eat. It's smoked and dried, so I can wrap it up and stick it in my pocket. I'm tired of getting stuck doing things and not being able to eat. It makes a good snack I can eat on the sly between things." He looked around constantly, trying to spot the fish shop or anything else that might be of interest.

It was then that the dark haired stranger walked up, though apparently he wasn't a stranger. Corbin gazed at him, trying to put a name to the face, but nothing at all came to mind. "I'm sorry, sir," he said formally, "but I'm afraid you have me at a disadvantage. You obviously know me, but I'm afraid I don't recognize you. Your voice is familiar but..." He shook his head, still unable to place him.
