"Well, so much for surprise and stealth. Now there's two of them." She thought to herself. She stood, and stretched out, with a loud yawn, and trotted up to them, pausing about ten feet from them. Her tail absently swished, wondering if they would even notice her now. She'd been quiet, yes, but the path she'd cut walking through the sand was probably noticeable, and led right up to her. She could only hope that they didn't have unpleasant reactions to seeing a wolf out in the middle of a desert, where most believed that there should be little to no life at all.
