The lamplighter growled as he dusted the snow off the top of his hat while Sajon popped the stone in the next lamp.

"Why are they around? What do they want??" The lamplighter complained as he lit the lamp. "Damn Elves. Thinking they're all high and mighty around here... Wait till humans come back. They'll be back and the Elves can go elsewhere and take their stupid brownies with them."

"Nothing is threatened," Sajon said as he looked back to the way they came from. "You just need more patience." He looked to the lamplighter and chuckled. "Don't look so angry."
