I find that when I make a really good post that is close to a page in length describing a sequence of attacks at specific angles, showing the movement of the character, describing how they are balanced for the overextended attack and multiple other details. Then get responded to with a two line post consisting of

"I dodge and then I attack you with my sword of fire"

I get a little ticked off. They didn't describe 'how' the dodged to aviod the complete sequence of attacks that would normally have made it impossible. They just assume that by saying "dodge" they did. I think roleplaying ability should come into play here. I would definately give more credit to the detailed guy then I would to the two liner post. Not just because of length but because they actually gave me a mental image of how it was possible for that attack to occur.

Also, it makes for a far better roleplay when characters are actually capable of being hurt. It's no fun if one character cannot be harmed because his skin is made out of rock. Or because his fire shield burns up anything before it hits him. I am more inclined to give credit towards a player willing to take a hit so that they can add to the roleplay then the one who plays like he is God incarnate.

Also... Tell me, with just a single sword and no offensive or defensive magical skills (except the ability to talk to animals which wouldn't be around), how would one defeat your 'Weapon' character? The sword is incapable of pierceing his skin, and even if it could that character would just create a black hole and swallow him up. Do not attempt to claim that such a fight in any way would be even, because we both no such a claim would be a lie.

The day when nobody comes back from a war it will be because the war has at last been properly organized.
