Description/Appearance: Artemis is a reletively tall human man, with long raven hair, some grey strands can now be seen amongst the sea of black locks, indicating the age of the man. His eyes are small, deep set and dark, seemingly black but in actual fact a very dark brown. A few frown lines constantly adorn his forehead, further pointing to the fact that Artemis isn't so young anymore. The only noticable weapon on the man's person is a large and faintly curved saber in a sheath at his waist, and he is clad in a myriad of dark brown leather belts and buckles, laced in and around his leather armour. Flowing out behind him is a long black cloak, the hood of which is usually pulled up over his head, shading his features further.
Background: Artemis was an orphan from a very young age, and was born in the beggar-city of Calimport, deep in the deserts. He was a fast-learning and violent youth, and his talent was noted by the guildmasters of the various factions of theives and assassins which plague Calimport, a potential member perhaps, if conditioned properly. And so Artemis was swept into the war of intruigue, lies and death that surrounds the guilds. He was trained from that very early age and soon became one of the most respected (and feared) assassin in the whole city. He killed for his masters for many, many years indeed before he was bested in single combat and in shame, decided to leave calimport to adventure and find his centre, to become the greatest fighter that ever lived, if he possibly could.
And though his skills have greatly improved since then, the now forgotten man has grown a tad older, and finds that he is slower than he used to be.
Weapons/Items: Magical Jewelled Dagger which when in an opponent's body, slowly and steadily drains their life force and heals Artemis' wounds. He also has a magical saber which can cut through most armours and can emit a faint red glow when he wishes it to.
