The sounds of soft-booted feet continuously made their way back and forth across the threshold of the door. They were there to check, and then to leave. They never engaged, nor did they make any attempt to rise the person that was within it's chambers. They all knew better. There had been so many incidents, but all were resolved by the very same person who had made them in the first place. It was a horrible way of torture. To keep someone locked inside of themselves, never to get out, never to escape. All they had was the nightmares of the events that had passed, and the idea that there was nothing they could do to change them.
Gwen festered in that feeling. She festered and relished the fact that her anger, her dark aura...it was getting stronger everyday. It was only a matter of time before all of the elven nation would be in a dark abysmal hell. The only thing she really had to do was marry the prince. In the elven kingdom, there was a princess and a prince, but everyone knew that the prince was who was going to be crowned first, that's how it always went. The men had all of the power. Women were just good for archery...if that maybe.
She growled as she thought about archery...something she was no good at. Her face wrinkled up, screwing into a nasty disgusting grimace. The purple gash that marked a scar across her face smashed with her skin, causing it to look even more hideous. Sure, she had to marry the prince of the elven nation, but that wasn't as easy as it sounded. Sure, Gwendolyn had a perfect frame for a elven bride, and her hair was just as long and luxurious as any fair maiden, but her face was an issue. It was ugly...as ugly as ever. It had a pretty frame, but the huge scar that cut her face in half made her a sore sight to look at.
"Probably why I'm locked in this tower..." She mused to herself in a voice that was all too gentle to be terrible. Sure, she was born with a wood elfs body and a mind and voice like one, but she had been transformed into something much darker. Tel Kein made sure of that.
